Collective Worship

As a Church school, Collective Worship is an important time during which we can share in celebrating God's love and learning more about the Christian faith through stories, songs, drama and prayer. We also celebrate the traditions of other religions in order for children to understand the beliefs of others.

The Christian values we promote through collective worship are the foundation of our school ethos. We have 6 core values, they are:  Love, Friendship, Forgiveness, Honesty, Hope and Trust.

At the moment, due to our risk assessments, collective worship takes place daily in each of the classes, led by the children's class teachers and we come together for some services via electronic means.

We also welcomed Reverend Audrey to our school and the village last term.  She joined us for our main virtual services for Harvest, Remembrance, Christingle and Christmas and we are all very much looking forward to working alongside Reverend Audrey this Spring Term.  **Due to current 'lockdown,' Reverend Audrey has pre recorded a series of collective worship and these are being posted on your child's google stream or for EYFS children in Tapestry.**
