In the event of an unplanned school closure due to adverse Weather Conditions or other Unforeseen Circumstances:
What school will do if we have to make the decision to close:
- School will send out an email to all parents using the normal method by 8.00am
- The school website will also be updated to reflect that the school is closed or partially closed
- Notification will be given to the local authority who will add it to their list: Northumberland County Council Alerts
- School will inform Radio Newcastle and Metro Radio

If school has not emailed you by 8.00am then we are open.
